About the facilities

Jordans Quaker Centre provides rooms for a variety of users in a setting noted for its atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. Those hiring our rooms are welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds which surround our building. Throughout your visit a member of staff will be on hand to ensure you receive a warm and friendly welcome; we do our best to respond to your requests.

The 1688 Meeting Room and the Penn Room are both on the ground floor and are fully wheelchair accessible. There is a hearing loop system in both rooms. Our other rooms are on the first floor of the building.

We use an award-winning local firm of caterers who can provide a variety of hot and cold buffet or light sandwich and fruit lunches. See www.seasons-catering.com for sample menus. Dietary requirements can be catered for. A well-equipped kitchen is available for self-catering at a small extra charge.

Rooms

Facilities include the Meeting House (capacity 100) a large meeting room (capacity 40) and two smaller meeting rooms (capacity 10-12), a foyer and two kitchens. These may be hired separately or in any required combination.

Equipment

A laptop computer, data projector, overhead projector, screen, flip charts (with pens and paper), CD player, and radio are available by prior arrangement. There is a charge for the use of the data projector.

Availability

The premises are normally available from Monday to Friday between 9am and 8pm. Requests for bookings at the weekends or outside of these times will be considered at the discretion of the Jordans Quaker Centre Office.
